Empirical Fitting Procedure
Diameter • Measure the Horizontal Visible Iris Diameter (HVID) and add 2 mm for the diameter selection. This lens will yield 1 mm of overlap. Custom diameters are available when HVID is less than 11 mm or greater than 12 mm.
Base Curve • Measure the flat K reading, and locate it on the chart. Use the appropriate lens diameter column to find the suggested base curve.
• Diameter and base curve suggestions are based on fitting experience and the most commonly used combinations. Certain corneal topographies may require a different diameter or base curve than is suggested.
